why did i start this blog?

well, it's actually pretty simple, but i tend to take the complicated route. so here it is:

i find it highly intriguing that there are millions of words to the english language, and yet, we only choose a very small number to express ourselves. i find it also fascinating that we verbally express ourselves nonstop throughout the day, but when a blank page is presented in front of us, suddenly we draw a blank. what is so haunting and intimidating about that blank page?

so.

i decided to challenge that blank page. though it may not seem, the english language is filled with some of the most beautiful words. i plan to share some of my favorites throughout my posts. there is also no better opportunity than right now to create and share some of my own piled together words that some may call poetry.

i recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in entertainment and sports promotions. it's basically just PR/advertising. but a very wordy title instead of something that simple. i really just want to be robin sherbatsky someday. you know, tv news anchor from "how i met your mother". maybe i'll even live in japan for a brief amount of time. apparently there's a saying out there that says "if you find a job you're passionate about, you'll never work a day in your life", or something along those lines.

well there you have it. a really long version of why i started this blog.

want the short version?

i needed something to put on my resume to show future employers my creative ability and on point writing skillz. (with a z for dramatic effect)
